Flu Clinics 2019 / 20

Flu clinics are now available to book for patients aged 65 years and over and those patients in clinical ‘at risk’ groups. This year, there are three different types of flu vaccine: one for patients aged 65 and over (including patients turning 65 before 1st April 2020); one for patients aged 18 to 64 in a clinical at risk group and one for patients under 18 years of age.

Please contact reception on 01522 724411 to make your appointment. We have clinics available at both Brant Road and Springcliffe sites.


We have three distinct and separate services at the practice so that patients’ needs are met by the

Urgent Care Service

All ‘on the day’ appointments for acute conditions – recent onset and short duration of symptoms.

The urgent care Advanced Nurse Practitioners (ANPs) will see and deal with all on the day appointment and visit requests.  ANPs can assess, examine, diagnose, prescribe and admit patients as appropriate and can arrange for GP review of cases if needed.

GP Service

If you need to see a GP you can pre – book appointments up to four weeks in advance for reviews and more complex and long term conditions.

Practice Nurse Service

The practice nurse team will continue to do all their chronic disease management, health promotion and treatment room services, and their appointments can be booked up to four weeks in advance.

If you are ringing for test results, repeat prescriptions or to make an appointment with a GP or practice nurse, please ring after 10am.  If you ring before this time we will ask you to ring back after 10am – our phone lines are open until 6.30 pm every evening.


If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else.
